Final Scratch Game

Final Project Reflection

I began the layout of my game by picking out the sprites I wanted to incorporate in my game as well as backgrounds. I assigned random spots for my ghosts to glide to so that it was hard for the player to find ghost 11,which is the object of the game. I had the ghost disappear when they touched the cat or dragon. I also had the cat keep score on how many ghosts were captured in round one of the game. I came across a problem while creating the game. I wanted to make the ghosts go up to a certain amount of points and then the game would go to a different level. Instead I had the player find a certain ghost and then it would go to a different level. I tested to see if my game would work often. Every time I used a new key I would make sure that it would work by playing my game. The game worked as I intended because when the ghost was found the ghost would say "You found me!". I am the most proud of my game to be able to have the ghosts disappear when it touches the cat or dragon and that when ghost eleven is found text appears that it has been found. I am disappointed that the game did not perfectly keep score. Overall, I enjoyed creating my own game!

Nutrition Project

Final Scratch Game

I want my game to be a city with aliens or zombies. I want a sprite to make them disappear when they are clicked or use the mouse to click them away. The purpose of the game will be to get to a certain amount of aliens or zombies captured you will reach a certain level. I will draw the aliens or zombies or use a sprite. When the game begins the spite who is making the aliens disappear will say "Get the Zombies!" I will use a certain sprite to "capture" them. I will also make people spites and if you capture the people you will loose 5 points. I am going to use a background of a city. My scoring will subtract 5 points for a person and you will get 2 points for an alien or zombie. Once the player gets to level two the sprites will move much faster. After level two the aliens will go much faster. When the player finishes level two they will win and a text will appear and say "You won!"

Alphabet

Alphabet Reflection

Megan's blog is different than mine because when the letters are clicked on the key bored her sprites say a statement. While on my game when the sprites are clicked they will say a statement. Also Megan went by the alphabet in order while I skipped a few letters. Another alphabet game a saw was Jona's and she did a different theme, "Things She Liked."
